Rich, some of my most productive lures are the ones that aren't pretty anymore! I think they look great! Most fish aren't all shiny and flawless. I think they're attacked because they look 'tired'.
Can you elaborate on your baits? It looks like the hook point exits through a slot in the top due to pressure from the mouth of the fish?
How's the hookup ratio?
