Fuzzy Tubes
I made some marabou tailed tubes by glueing marabou to a strip of
newspaper and wrapping it around an aluminum rod. I used washable
stick glue (UHHU sp?) and the paper to temporarily hold the feathers
to the dipping tube. The butt ends of the marabou must project beyond
the edge of the paper 1/4" so that they get covered by the plastic. Only dip up to the paper but not the paper itself.After dipping, wash the paper and glue off with warm water. This method take too long, so if you could suggest a faster way, please do.
