A Nutsy Approach
On another board, a fellow relates he uses a wide gap hook in rigging a fluke. After going through the nose and before running the point through the fluke for the second time, he runs a nut onto the hookshaft giving the fluke a noisemaker and moveable weight. He says he gets a variety of falls from the shifting nut and also changes sizes of nuts for different effects.
This would also work well when wide gap rigging tubes and grubs, thinks I.
