I'm getting volcanoes in my fluid bed?

Just got my bed together. Have a 20-60 gallonpump and coffee filter membrane on a 3" drain pipe bed.

I only have the small jars of powder paint. Dropped one in the cup and turned on the air. I adjusted until I saw just a slight rise in the paint, maybe a 1/4 turn on my valve. Just barely opened.

Everything is ok until I bump the bed and then I get volcanoes and paint spouts out onto the bench. The cup is 4'' deep. The paint is @ 1-1 1/2" deep in bottom of cup.

Do I need more paint in the cup? would I be better off to switch to a 2" cup?

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Craig
