A slower setting epoxy can be injected into some holes.

Drill a few holes on the under side of the reel seat where the reel foot sits. Mix up some slow cure epoxy and load the syringe. Take your time and inject the epoxy into the holes. Rotate the rod a quarter or half turn every 15 minutes or to keep the epoxy from settling in one spot.

After that sets, make sure you seal up your holes with another batch of epoxy.

There is typically some air space between the seat and rod blank. But every company assembles differently. Its hard to know where that air space is going to be.
