First day on the water...
After a 536 mile drive, we pulled into my son's driveway and parked the boat. Two days later, I found myself on the Jersey City Flaowage with my uncle and cousin.
We enjoyed about 10 hours on the water catching up on the last 9 months, teasing and joking, and getting 13 nice pike... we could have limited out with 15 fish, but they would been smallish. The water temps are still pretty cool and the pike have been along the shore line. No small mouth bass or musky so far.
Planning to be on the water again Wed., Thur., and Fri. The only down part so far was my motor decided to die on the way back to the dock. Hopefully, it is just a minor problem and should back in service soon.
