I did a hundred jigs just like the one Lively has pictured and I bet 98 of them came out with a flat (no gloss) spot just below the hook eye. The rest of the jig looked just like those in Lively's picture. Go figure. I like the gold, it works for me.

Lively, sorry to hijack your thread, I'll shut up now.
