Howdy from NY

Hello guys and gals,

I'm Wayne from upstate NY.
I love to fish every chance I get.
I started out making my own trout worm harnesses and then it went to walleye leaders and I also make my own ice fishing tipup leaders all with a little special care.

Glad to be here and learn some new talents, I've got a fly tieing kit, that some day, I'll start trying my hand at tieing flys and jigs.

basstracker.

Welcome to the TU fray. I started fly tying when I was 12 and that grew to tying bucktails to make a french bladed spinner bait. I still tend to do the majority of my fishing with inlines and looped framed hair pin spinners.

Again, welcome to site and I'll see you on campus.

Hey Wayne
Welcome to TU. Between this and ULF you aren't going to have much time to fish. You got my PMs, so if you need anything....

Think you guys.
I'm on 6 or more fishing sites and yes I've still got time to hit the water. I try and get out fishing 1-3 times a week and when ice is in, it maybe 4-5 times a week.

Another site to hang out in, oh my wife is going to kill me.

Re: Howdy from NY

That can be avoided if you stop asking, "How ya' spell bass again???". I found that out the hard way and no matter how funny you think a thread is, she's just NOT going to get it, so stop reading them to her... It only makes them mad at you...

Re: Howdy from NY

That is funny, with my wife being an teacher, I'm always asking how to spell something. And being a mod and co-owner to my own site, I'm always on the computer, that is at night on my days off.

On my days off during the week, I'm fishing. That is if my "honey do" list isn't getting full.

I used to his the banks and trout fish at 1st signs of open water and fish thru the whole open water season. Then I started ice fishing, then I ended up getting a boat for my birthday and I'm always on the water now, well that is what she will say. That is if I'm not on the computer.

Thanks again for the welcome and you'll be seeing more of me. Looks to be a nice site. It will work in well with my ultralitefishing which I've gotten into more and more over the years.

Those are some nice looking bass jigs you have in the gallery and you also do spinnerbaits by the looks of your avatar.

Very fine looking craftsmanship.
