Re: Narrow display

So Sinbad, is it true that using MS Exploder can cause E. D. bad enough that no amount of Harly riding or hot tub soaking will fix??? LoL...

Re: Narrow display

Oh no, it is the same on my works computer. This has to be a TU thing. Is there some setup icon that I haven't spotted yet?

I had a flipped order of posts issue a cople of weeks back. I had reset my preferences

Tackleunderground > User Control Panel > Edit Options. Thers are several options to double check, but I didn't see anything for screen width. I know Jerry was making some updates Sat., any chance that this started up around that time?

I am leary of suggesting this, but maybe a different web browser could help. I just love to hate the "things" a computer can put you through. Maybe just leaving it unplugged would help... my ex tried that thinking the actual CPU would refresh or flash itself after 24 hours. Happy she's my ex

Re: Narrow display

I just loaded FireFox and the display is nice and sharp, but is actually a little narrower than in MS Exploder. But, the spell check program is finally working at the point of entry, I may not have to type it in MS Word, copy, and paste to TU Quick Reply. Wow Vman, thanks for helping me.

Re: Narrow display

The display width seems to change depending on whether the right side column is displayed or not. Right after you post... distracting, but workable.

Re: Narrow display

I don't follow.

Are you saying that the right column can be switched off?

Re: Narrow display

No, when you start from the top of the page, the left, center, and right columns are a set width and if all three are in view when you post, nothing much changes.

If you start from the top of the page, the left, center, and right columns are a set width and if all three are not in view when you post, the right column remains unchanged, the center column gets wider and takes space from the right column, and part of the right column is pushed off the viewable screen and a a page slider, the part of the window used to shift the window left or right, appears.

This is crazy!

Re: Narrow display

That probably explains why the screen temporarily returns to how I remember it when I post or PM, as these operations are done below the side columns, at the bottom of the page.

But the two side columns should sit at the side of the page, not two inches into the screen. What burns me is that no one else has this problem. I have obviously disturbed something and it is stored in my users memory or profile, as it has transferred to my works computer.
