Couple of days ago I came across this lovely site and now I made up my mind about participating a bit .
I was born 1961 , live in a small town 20miles east of Hamburg/northern Germany .
I've been fishing for approx. 20 years by now , about since that time I'm also making my own tackle and lures .
My first spinnerblades those days I cut out from the bottoms of beverage cans(already had that curved shape) , but nowadays I've come a long way furher , I guess .
I've been casting sinkers , making floats and bobbers of balsa and reed , swaging blades and spoons from sheet metal , building chumming baskets of meshed wire and carving lots of wooden lures , etc...........!
Of course I've also been catching fish
!
Through the years my stock of homemade lures grew to countless numbers , and still I have new ideas
, that I as well get from sites like this one , since I decided to also get online some months ago .
