Got a storm tonight my wife went to the store at 2:00 and started home at 3:00 and the storm hit crippling the roads. only 25 minutes away and just got home from the highway parking lot at 9:50. almost 7 hours. She is sick of the snow now!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was alot of pile ups and roll overs road closers. High winds and snow drifts. Even the sheriffs are on snowmobiles. School buses parked at the churches. Kids still not home. Every one is pulling together local school has 170 kid sleeping over.
Wow... Wish we got that snow here ... wait a second that's probably the storm the hit use last week... just a lot worse. Hehe... come back storm I don't wanna go to school.
Haven't You ever seen Frosty the snowman?!!? You can wage war on the snow!
I love the snow, my philosophy is, if its cold, let there be snow! Beside, Northern Wisconsin was definitely had low water levels and hopefully the more snow we get, hopefully it will snow and snow and snow until the levels are back to normal
We have had over 80 inches here; no place left to pile it. The worse thing is I am not sure if I could get the boat out of the garage even if I was to head south. may need to hire a dozer.
Kribman.
You said a mouth full. Areas north of Merrill, Wisconsin were definitely low and it had a pretty negitive impact on the corn crop last summer too. Many of the homes out in the country that rely on well water and I always think about the water table levels.

We had hail stones a few weeks ago. I thought it was stones from the car in front at first, but there was no other traffic and some of the hail stayed on the hood. It was all over in seconds. The taxi driver didn't even notice.
Apparently Kuala Lumpur is the most lightening struck city. I can believe it, seems like every day, in reality more like one in two. Couldn't find any snow fall figures though.
I can't find a total snow fall for this year but I would guess it's around 12 to 14 inches max., and that has all melted away already. We have gotten several good days of rain in the past few weeks.
The most interesting thing I've seen this year weather-wise was thunder snow. It lasted about 45 minutes and is kind of odd looking.

We get thunder snow in Virginia about once a year. But we haven't had any real snow for once and I'm not complaining, oughta make for nice fishn' this year. Then again we gotta pass the March test first.
