Today........45 degrees and raining.Later thia week, high of 15. Still 10-12 in. of ice on the lakes and the rivers look like chocolate milk with debris flowing down.
Oh well, plenty of painting and tying to do.
We had 2 perfect days of 70-75 degrees on the beach last week and i tried for 2-3 pound barred surfperch on 4 pound line and 3-1/2 inch sluggos. Unfortunatly i only caught 1- 4in. 4 oz. on my second cast and i fished for 4 more hours in 57 degree water with swimtrunks on. I did see a corbina feeding on the shore and he's about 3 months early. Now its going to rain this week and i have to wait until the toxic bacteria levels go down before i wade back in. Our surf teams all have their hepatitus shots and i would rather deal with clean snow.
I wouldn't know too much about the snow, other than its consistant. Down here in bama it was 60 degrees and sunny one day, the next day 24 and snow flurries, 2 days later its 65 with tornadoes and so on. I wish it would just make up its dang mind and do something constant for at least a week. Its a wonder I'm not sick as a dog. lol
