HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRUCE!!!!

Fear not, for you are still safe at 49. Getting to 50 is a ton of fun (if you do it right) and it's all downhill to the big 60. It is a hell of a ride, so make the very best of it, you only get the one chance.

Have a great day and go fishing.

Re: Happy Birthday Spike

Palmetto Balsa - I blame you for starting ALL THIS; thanks buddy!

Nova - Thanks, seems like it was your birthday just last week... Is attempting to account for missing time a common problem for folks of my "advanced age?"

Dieter - If mature equals turning gray, I've been mature for a long time... Some day, I may have to grow up.

George - If I start to feel like my life is getting too boring, I can stop by and watch flex your melt before you pour - you pyro!!

PhilB - I say old chap, is it time for tea and biscuits? Ta.

Gene - Thanks. I think we may be in trouble next year when Linda, Debbi, and Jeannie get together for "Bead Fest 2009". Maybe we can sneak off and get some fishing in Mr. "yeah, I've already landed 6... How long do you take to tie on a bait any ways?" It was a great time - thanks for the LESSON.

Re: Happy Birthday Spike

Happy B-day Spike,
Sorry I'm late, been out for a few days, and trying to catch up on my mail, and all my TU reading info. Don't feel bad I just turned 50 this year (all right I just let the cat out of the bag for those of you that didn't know my age). I act like 30, I think like 30, but my body feels like (50....55....60...65) Aw hell my body sometimes feels like st. But that doesn't stop me. Happy belated birthday, think young and you'll feel young mentally. The hell with the body. They do head transplants now don't they? Old head with all that knowledge and a younger body. Something to think about.

Re: Happy Birthday Spike

My Father used to say it best by saying, " I feel like a million and I'm not even fifty..." I'd better enjoy using that one while I can.

Dave - Had a darn good one.

Ted - The last celeb I heard about Ted Williams was and his head must be spinning in it's cryogenic chamber (isn't that a cheap beer cooler??)

fishface - Thanks for the spam (aka: simulated pork meat product - yummy!) It's 49, kiddo... How many 29's in your future. Some people's children.
