Skeeter has it right. the only other thing i can add to that is use the same finese worm [any color is fine as long as it is GREEN PUMPKIN] and put it on a shaky head like Skeeter said if you can't catch fish on one of these two methods , you might want to take up golf.

Have you considered that maybe they aren't there anymore? I always figure that ninety percent or more of the fish are in ten percent or less of the water. I think once you find a concentration of fish you will get a bite or two on most anything and then is the time to experiment with lures/techniques.

Junebug or watermelon red Zoom Mag II, 1/8 ounce bullet weight, cast it far and reel it fast. twitch your rod tip like you would if you were using a spook. cover lots of water. you want a "walking the dog" action about 2' under water. DO NOT PEG YOUR WEIGHT. As you jerk the worm, the weight tends to slide 6 to 10 inches from the worm and back and helps get that "reaction strike" (simulates predator chasing prey)

Just for kicks add a nail weight in the very back of a small frog or tube bait then work the bait over and past the fish then drop it back in front of the fish. If its rigged and swimming right it will swim backwards and drop in front of the fish.

Re: S.O.S-NEED HELP!! Bass bite trouble!!

Had the same problem a few years ago, 3 of us in the boat all fishing the same depth and bait They were catching and I wasn't. Washed my hands with no scent soap and have never looked back, always keep it in my tackle box.

uh what about that place called the pet store. go down and buy 10 little gold fish and 10 large gold fish 5 gold and five mixed. this doesn't work look for crawdads or water dogs. live bait always works. if not use what Al Linder uses day in -day out you cant beat a tube!

Re: S.O.S-NEED HELP!! Bass bite trouble!!

Probably too late but here goes.

I take it this is a bass you see on the bed from the way you can see it not biting. This has been my goto with bass on a bed.

You have to use a weight that they can't fan out of the bed. i usually use about a 1 oz weight pegged so it cant move.

Florida rig a salamander if you have no live bait available.
If you have live bait rig a craw or better yet a med sized shiner hooked through the lower lip or at the anal fin.

When that ol bass cant get it out of his bed, he'll eat it up.
