Senko Keepers

Got a chance to go out with SouthStatesFishin last month and fished some of his handpoured senkos c-rig and weightless. With a carolina-rig I hardly ever have more than an 18" leader with them and always use a 3/0 Owner Cutting Point hook. If your not catching fish with a senko the you are probably fishing it too fast. Either C-rig or just weightles if it isn't working then cut your speed in half, if still no bite... cut it in half again!! These are a couple of keepers I scored on that trip with Dano and would like to thank him for taking the time to come up and spend a day on the lake with me and letting me use some of his baits.

Senko fish

With c-rig I have my best luck with a 3' leader so the bait falls like it does weightless with a t-rig. Fish do like them Senkos. I like to use a 4alt gammi wide gap with 5" Senko and 2or3alt with 4" senkos. Nice fish guys. Delw, looks like the kids in the pic. were having a blast....lol That is great to see. Tight lines

Gotta love a bait that catches fish like a senko style bait! For those who are making them be sure you try differnt weights of baits[salt content] for a action the fish dont see everyday!!!!!

Re: Senko Keepers

try this.....use your favorite bass jig...only don't use a pork chunk/plastic trailer...rig it with a senko....works great..
