OLD STUFF

In the days of designing, building, and testing our own baits here is
a little food for thought; Wind quit blowing so hard today so I snuck out
on the lake for couple hours fished the hot water outlet. It is a hell of a
long cast from the restriction fence to the gates, so I need some weight
besides the slab-n-shad I tried an old perch pattern Heddon Sonar and
a 1 3/4 ounce 4 inch lipless cranker that I made several years ago. Well
I lost both of these plus one other Sonar in the bottom rocks but before
I did I caught 2 Hybrid Stripers 4lb and 3lb two 16 inch largemouth and
about 35 nice white bass. Kept 6 Whites for supper Man they were tasty.
moral is Don't forget about some of that old stuff in the bottom of your
tacklebox. It still works good.
