Floatin' tube baits

Since I am fishing spawners on a carolina riged tube-lizard i thought i would share what i do to float my tubes.

I cut strips of the really thin, flexable type foam you get from various products that are carfully wraped in this material.

I roll the stripes and shove them in my tubes. The foam is nice because your hooks can go right through it with not much extra resistance ( you can set a hook through it).

hope some of you can use this methode as much as i do.

Thanks, that's definitely a great idea. I've been making home made rattles from glass beads and drinking straws....making them a little longer than normal with fat straws and nose hooking, that works well also...I like your concept better, leaving the tube flexible when they hit.
