i personally when plastic fishing love to drop-shot, texas, and carolina rig plastics. do a google search if you cnat find the help you need. good luck on the water.

i would fish a small worm on a leadhead for perch here in the us, not sure about there but d-shot and carolina rigs are great.

do u use senkos, u should try weightless senkos, i dont know what bass or what fish are in your country.

yes, i believe in san diego even there are perch. But its catching them thats the trick!

Fortunately . . .

The damned things haven't hit the delta yet. I have only seen them in Iron Gate reservoir up toward Oregon and in Lafayette reservoir in the Bay Area. They even tried to poison Lafayette to get rid of the damn things about 15 years ago. At least they do make good food for the bass and trout. Right off the dock near the ranger station you can't drop a worm to the bottom without catching a damned perch.

Yep thats them. They breed anywhere like flies and they are a notorious predator of younger baitfish. However on the plus side they are great eating and they are absolute suckers for plastics.
