? Source of small badger hackle

Does anyone know of a good source of very small badger hackle that is white/lightcream with black strip in center - and the black tips? I don't want yellow/light brown badger. I have looked at a lot of sources online but can't find pics or descriptions that tell me very much about the feathers...and hate to order sight-unseen.

tnx.

Without actually being able to see something it would always be hard to determine if that is what you actually want. What you are describing sounds pretty close to a small hackle that I got at a fly show. It was part of a grab bag I picked up for one specfic color I wanted. I can take a pic of it and it that is what you are looking for I make a trade if you might consider that.

MT beat me too it. check out the Conranch site and if you don't see exactly what you're looking for email Denny or Liz and have him send you some photo's of what he has.

He's great to deal with and has very fair prices for some great hackle. I've been dealing with him for about 3 years now and haven't been disappointed yet.

Re: ? Source of small badger hackle

Thanks for the replies. I'll do both: contact Conranch *and* contact you VARick via PM.

In the meantime, here is a link to a photo of what it looks like:

I believe the same fly is tied in 'light spruce'.

If anyone else has a lead on this hackle, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Tnx

This is the Conranch Gold Badger http://www.conranch.com/viewin/c_gb_cp.jpg

Like I said before send him the link of the fly you listed above and ask him if he has the same, make sure to tell him what size range you're looking for but it's probably going to be a cape.
