My first try at a trebble hook

well I have no vice yet ,but getting one soon. so I had to hold this with one hand and tie with the other. Was kinda tricky but can't wait for the vice. Tell me what you think as for I'm new and want to do it right the first time.

Thanks Robby.

For not having a vice you did a great job. I couldn't see if you had another hackle on the backside.. ie one on each of the 3 sides. Should work well for you.. you'll get some good action with the hackle tied to be furled to the outside (up), they'll come back down on retrieve and splay back out on a pause.

Use a whip finisher to tie off or a couple of half hitches (tying back and forth). Also, you might consider a vise that rotates 360 degrees (really helps when doing trebles).

here's number 2 wanted to use 2 different colors, my vise should be here in three days max. I can't wait! I know how to tie a half hitch but still don't know what you mean : I have a tool named a ty-master it's a double hook thingy like a dentist tool but the hell if I could figure it out, although I did get a piece of chicken out of my teeth with it LOL.
