Can any one post Direction about tying feather trebles
I am not happy with the ones I did
if you have pics or illustration that would be great
I have searched the web and the one I found are for buck tails
that's where I got the ones I did, but did not like the way I did it
I would like specific advice, thank in advance
Are you using the correct tools for the job, or freehanding. A fly tying vice and a few hackle clamps (not sure of the correct name), make the job so much easier by keeping everything tight. Also the tools enable you to let go of everything without it falling apart.
A simple starter book to fly tying will help enormously.
I tied a few before, you have to wrap around the main shaft rright below the eye, then put 1 feather between each hook, (do 1 at a time, and wrap it about 5 times before doing other one.) Then tie and glue. Mine worked/looked great.
