Re: Interesting foil technique

Yeah there are some beautiful stuff in the Brazilian site. I think they call lures "isacs", the web translation I use have me guessing all the time what is said there

Some nice stuff here too:

LaPala- Great work here , I liked 'Miss Pepper da Foster'. Its interesting the names they are given, lots of ladies here. You have to wonder how many lure sites/makers we are not seeing. pete

Lol, "Got Pasta?"

Thalme's work is amazing as is some of the work on those Brazilian pages. Some of the paint work is actually hard to figure out as to how it was done.

Re: Interesting foil technique

The Brazilian bait with the holograpic scales is done with holographic foil with the scales printed on it. You can get it online, I have some but have not used it yet. It is adhesive backed and comes in a variety of scale colors and shapes.

Re: Interesting foil technique

Yes 'Pikey', they make some great stuff, I have an Italian site somewhere too - they are not as consistently good as the Fins though. Can't find any Australian sites though - all very secretive around here.pete

You're right Pete, other than the commercial ones like Tilsan, Halco I think yours is the only Aussie handmade custom lure I know of LOL
