This bait was purchased on E-bay, was listed as a handmade and was going cheap so I bought it, the seller did not know the maker. It is a handmade and appears to be well done and it runs well but I would like to know if it is someone on TU. The signature it very small and difficult to read but with magnification it appears to be Brad Hunter. Welcome any help.
Dwain, Basshunters is Brian Moore from Knoxville TN. Brian does make some fine baits, met him at the Indy boat and tackle show and bought 3, he does not sign his baits.
I have an almost identical bait and it was made by Brian Moore/Bass Hunter. Same eyes, scales, kill spot, eyelet location and same rounded edges all around with no taper at the tail. Some things to check would be the body length of the wood and see if it is 2 1/4" and bottom eyelet location to top of the back being a little less than 1 1/4". Width is 1/2" nose to tail. If the measurements match up I feel sure it is a Bass Hunter. The eyes are identical.
yes guys thats one of Brian Moores baits its one of the earlier ones when he signed them how i know this is he lives on the other side of town from me and i see him at the expo shows on a regular basis very good craftsmanship from him on his lures he will go along way in crankbait making
