There is a number of way to go about it. Linking 2 screw eyes is probably the most popular...just make sure you do that step LAST, or you will mostly likely get the clearcoat epoxy on the joint. Not good. I learned that one the hard way...
I wind 2 screw eyes made from 190 lb test stainless leader wire, one inside the other to form a hinge, then use 2 hinges to joing each segment. It's best to finish the bait and clearcoat it before epoxying in the hinges. If you get epoxy into the hinge eyes, drill it out with a piece of wire or a small drill bit mounted in a Dremel tool.
