anyone have any idea on how to paint scales on a lure?

Aaron, Go to an art store, they should have a sheet of metal, that people use to form models for sculpure. You can cut it, form it, anything. It;s very light. Hope this helps. Doug

I went to the Grocery Store and cruised the produce department. The best I came across was a bag of potatoes and onions. They had the best mesh that had nice scale designs. I cut them out and I followed the tutorials and will airbrush them on. It should work real well, I went to 3 different craft stores and could not find anything in there even close to use. So cruise the grocery stores! Cody

Fabric stores carry a product called thule ( pr. tool ). Comes in several sizes and patterns.
