I have compiled a partial list of the properties of common epoxies. I will probably have to make a few calls to get complete information. Although some conclusions were drawn, there is not yet enough information to make an objective analysis. I will update the file as information comes in. Well, I did a little more homework and came up with nothing. Most disappointing is that Flex Coat has no published data. I couldn't squeeze anything out of them besides some general characteristics.
So, my little study remains inconclusive. I'll leave the properties chart posted at the link in the last post forever, in case anyone comes up with some more data.
One thing I've found is that System 3's clear coat description reccomends coating over it with a clear laquer, as it is vulnerable to "blooming" when in contact with water. I have no idea what blooming is, but I'm pretty sure I don't want it to happen on my baits...
