Check that site , that BEZYB mentioned , there should be somewhere an instruction for a lure called "The Roach" there .

I'd strictly recommend this one to start out , it's easy to build and easy to balance(requires only one lead weight in its belly) .

Also easy to fish , pull it , twitch it , jerk it or just reel it , it always provides swimming action at 1 to 15 feet approx. , depending on built-in sink rate .
