Re: green and gold leaf

I like it.
It's all a little pricey when I sit back and think about it.
What every the price, it was worth it.

Re: green and gold leaf

That's a great looking and very neat foil job Smitty. I foil mine with silver backed tape and spray it with Createx transparent yellow to get a gold foil, which is brighter but not nearly as classy looking as yours.

Nothing's too good for the fish, right?
Kudos on a very original foiling idea, and a really beautiful paint job.

Re: green and gold leaf

smitty,
I've seen gold and silver leaf applied on jobsites, and, if memory serves, the painters used varnish, both under and on top of the leaf.
What did you use as an adhesive and as a top coat?

Great looking baits Smitty, I bought some of that same leafing at Michaels a few months back but have yet to try it. You've got me wanting to give it a whirl!
