Top coat foil?

Would someone tell me what you top coat the foil with after you have it on your bait and before you paint? Devcon?? I shoot auto paint base / clear.

Yeah, I use Devcon 2-ton, because it hides the areas on the top and bottom where there may or may not be any foil. This also fills in the etched-out foil, or the pattern in the foil, if there is one. Then, when you paint, you are painting on a smooth surface again. Then clearcoat with Decon 2-ton, and you've got yourself a piece of fish-catchin' art!!!!
