Sandpaper

Can anyone give me some information on where to obtain a super fine grit sandpaper? I can only find 220 grit. I am looking for a finer grit for polishing. Do they make anything finer than 220 grit?
Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure of the exact upper limit, but I do know that it is available in at least 600 grit. Try Home Depot, failing that, speciality woodworking stores (like lee valley tools) or metal working businesses should carry very fine grit papers as well. I'm sure others will have some good suggestions too.

Send a message via Yahoo to count draculure
Hi B & D

Go to an auto body paint and supply store. You can get paper as fine as 2000 grit there.

I went to a place, here in New England, called Providence Lacquer and picked up the sandpaper that I was looking for. Again, I want to thank everyone for their help.
