deep diving musky baits ?
What type of wood are you guys using for deep diving musky lures? I tried using maple so I wouldn't have to add as much lead but the epoxy finish keeps cracking and peeling off. When I'm using cedar I have no problems at all. Thanks. Jim

I use cedar and work the body/lip designs to make the bait dive deeply. One of my designs uses no lead and achieves 32+ feet.
