Removing Clips

I need to know a good method of removing the clips the hold hooks on crankbaits. I'm doing repaints and need to get em off for sanding and all. some topwaters have screw in ones, cranks don't . how do i remove them and put em back in. thanks

Get yourself a pair of split ring pliers. They are designed to do just what you need. The directions should be on the pack.
