I mixed some pearl and green soft plastic highlite with my first coat of Devcon and applied it to the first coat on a crank bait. I applied the eyes before the second coat of pure DC2T. It looks great. It is a more realistic shimmer than .08 glitter can give and is not as over powering as foil. I'm sure that many of you have done this, but I never had. I added about the same amount that you would to 2oz. of plastic (1 match head). Just sharing tip where I can.

Thanks for the tip. I have a friend who just got back into pouring, and I'm going to bum some plastic glitter from him.

Make sure it is Hi-Lite. This is a pulverized powder vs. .08 Fine Glitter. Del Wilcox has a great assortment.
