Glueing soft to hard plastic

I've just finished custom painting a bait (sealed with Devcon 2-ton), and thought it would be nice to cut a tail section off a culprit-type worm and add it to the back of the crank. Any suggestions as to how to attach the two to get a halfway decent look? Thanks in advance

On baits I attatch soft plastics too,I add a small wire shaft to slide the plastic on too...then a drop of super glue on the shaft and back of the bait, and slide it into place...Nathan

I've never used one, but I think there's a product called a hitchhiker that's made for that type of purpose.

Thanks guys,
Tried the hitch hiker device, but the piece of softplastic is too thin and the metal rings pop right through it. I will try to concoct something similar to Nathan's device.

Thanks!

On some of the musky baits I do I take a screw eye, longer than normal and after fastening it to the lure. cut the eyelet off with sidecutters. then coat the remaing threads with super glue. also make sure you put some super glue where the tail rests on the lure itself. Hold in place for 30 seconds and it stays on pretty good
