What kind of material are you using for eyes? I tryied doll eyes the same type of setting but they tend to pop-out if I'm hitting objects.I've tried to glue and clearcoat but it failed so i printed a eye under the doll eyes so it looks the same if it does pop-out. Thinking of indentations for the doll eye sets. I'm just courious of what kind of eye pattern that is. It would work well with a indentation .

hi boatnik, ,using the animals eyes/doll eyes from lewiscraft, the ones with the stem, i snipped the stem off, sanded the back, used 5 min epoxy then the clear coat, good point you brought up about the eye maybe coming off?? (hope it does not happen!!!) next ones i do will leave the stem attached and drill a hole right through the bait , then fill the holes with 5min epoxy, my thinking is this will allow the eye to be anchored into the wood? what do you think??? if that fails then i will go to your idea and make indents for the eyes and either set them in or paint them in.thanxs for the tip! Rob
