Hi, I finally got the water slide decals started up. It only took me one trial run, they are pretty easy to work with. Thanks to Shawn for his input. One pic is of a blueback herring that is still in the works - hopefully I'll have a finished pic in the album soon. The other is the tail of the schoolbus yellow bait, a small logo. These decals are really cool, and they hide very well under the epoxy clearcoat.
sorry for my lack of participation in the forums lately, I've been applying to colleges and for scholarships...very stressful stuff. But, it looks like I'll be studying fisheries management at either Auburn or UGA.
Thanks for the comments guys. William, you can find the waterslide decals at www.micromark.com or www.decalpaper.com. Make sure you get the right kind for your printer and know that I used the transparent decal paper to print both in the photos. Micromark has a nice catalog of handy stuff for tacklemakers, might I suggest that you order a catalog from them. Decalpaper.com deals in more bulk pricing but are much cheaper in the prices as well.
I'm trying not to get too stressed out LOL
Tacklemacking and fishing is what keeps me going!
