cleaning solvent for Devcon 2 ton epoxy....

What do you guys recommend for a brush cleaner when using Devcon 2 ton epoxy as an overcoat?

Hi Mike, I personally use acetone and really like it. I know some guys use MEK and I think some use denatured alcohol. What ever you use make sure to follow the directions on the label as any of this stuff can be very hazardous and flammable. Hope this helps and good luck. Ken Schmitz Mylures

Brush cleaner

I leave my brush sitting in an airtight plastic bottle
with about an inch of acetone in the bottom. Its ready
to go next time.

Since I sometimes thin the Devcon with rubbing alcohol I also use this for cleaning the brush after each use, works great!\\
