Great work, rowhunter.

In the first photo, you show the wire. Perhaps you could add a twist or two to the wire at the point where the hook hangers drop down from the lateral line of the wire. Just a thought. It might add another element of stability to the wire in the event of severe stress . Just a thought, not a criticism.

Good photos of how to foil and great looking bait too. I've been wondering how foiling is done. What do you use to adhere the mesh to the bait, then the foil to the mesh?

I'm assuming Row is epoxying the halves together so that should add to the integrity of the wire. Also, I read where Silver Solder works on SS, so that may be an option if strength really is an issue.
Twisting the wire and getting the neat fit that he does may add even more time, as he has to get it perfect, twice.

Wonderful work!!! I love doing the foil that way it gives more depth.
Just getting the wire "straight" is an accomplishment, you sir gots it down to an art.

i would not worry about twisting the wire. it will never move its its haevy stainless.. once glued together i dont feel theres a musky that will hurt that baby

This may sound like a dumb question, but what kind of wood did you use to start with. I'm a total newbie to this .
