Bulk lure drying wheel

Just wanted to give back to what I think is the best message board I have even seen. I have learned a lot from some very talented people on this board and hopefully this will help some of you.
I needed a solution for drying large amounts of jigs/spinnerbaits and concocted this drier using a rotisserie motor similar to what others have mentioned for hard baits. I stole the motor from my own grill so don't tell my wife. I mounted the supports on a wooden frame, hacked 6" off of each end of the rod and inserted into either end of a wooden dowel. I then wrapped the dowel in closed cell pipe insulation attached by tie wraps, which make replacing the insulation a breeze when it gets torn up.
It does a great job of avoiding sagging in the topcoat even with the slow rpms. I have had as many as 90 jigs at a time on this baby. I have attached a few pics to illustrate my babble. Thanks to all of you who have helped me so much....Vince

Nice wheel idea. Nice lab too. Looks like you dipped your toe to test the water and fell in!

Re: Bulk lure drying wheel

And I thought fishing was an addiction...it started with me 20 yrs ago when I spun my first diamond wrap on a rod blank, then building spinnerbaits/jigs, now plastics and molds. My wife is asking when the bass pond is going to be built in our back yard..followed by NOT!
