Its kinda of dual purpose as the vices are strong enough to hold lures and I gave it enough clearance. The vices are 1.5" apart on center but they are removable so that I can do bigger lures as well. Thanks for the kind comments.
wow looks very nice . Those dowels must have taken some time , I know mine did and all I did was cut the eye end off a 1.5 inch screweye and drill it into the dowel end . I will have to look at your machine again when I build another one .
Yea that is sweet.. I've been trying to find motor for mine .. not easy in the winter Some on ebay .. but dont trust electrical used stuff from ebay, not to mention by the time pay for it and the shipping can buy new one at lowes 22 bucks. Been trying to find one at thrift store .. did find one but it was almost gone.. grinded like crazy and stopped and started. Ive seen a million rotessiere motors in the past just never knew I would need one. Would like to find a bigger geared down motor ,, those suckers are 300 plus dollars.. any other ideas for motors out there besides rotessiere motors?
Very good design! No waste. It looks as though you could possibly double the holders if needed,is that true?I love it when a design is conducive to further adaptations.Once again, great job!!
