Hey just realized you are bassbuster from BDO!Welcome to the custom lure making side of things
To tell you the truth,there are a couple of options.
I have a pair of very thin,long needle nose pliers i filed a groove in to the top and bottom jaws with a needle file.They worked great until I found these from texas tackle.www.texastackle.com
These from texas tackle are kind of high(price) but are well worth it.

oh thats a name i recognize.i didn't know they had a fishing tips section.still new.i will try that trick.on one of my old pliers.thanks blade.come to think of it.i thought of the screen name BB from one of are old post.what do you do file a grove on one end and grind a v shape on the other end?
