pouring

hey David,
I dont fish for musky or pike due to the fact that I live in Ca we dont have em. If you are looking to make this hybrid heres what I would do. First try it and make sure it works good, its going to be quite a bit of work to do what you want. Second carve your lure, make a slot where the swimbaits tail part can attach like a joint that fits together. Pouring a swimbait around the lure isnt going to work, especially if your going to be catching musky they will tear it apart and then you screwed. If you add the feature of the hinge like ac plug where you can esially replace the tail that will work great. Another guy I know in canada does something similar to this. You will most likely have to make the mold if you can carve out a wood design of what you want you can make the mold out of resin which works great and is inexpensive. Remeber the bait will have to have 1 flat side to pour.
Hope this helps if you need any more help just reply and ill anser any ?'s I can
Tm
