These baits pictured are about 7-8" long, but way less than a ounce.Thats one of the neat things about this lure, size but no weight. To be honest, they are weird to look at,but when you get them in the water, they come to life. The soft flowing motion of fur and the mechanicle motion of the diving bill. The heads are made of wood, and rattle.
I'm currently working on some smaller sizes.I sent Redg8r a squid I've been working on which follows the same concept.I think he is going to post a picture of it..Nathan
The picture does it no justice,
Ive had an opportunity to own a few of Nathans baits..
all of em are truly inventive, & his craftmanship shows.
This one's on its way to the Florida Keys, to see if it can stir up some big gamefish
I'm gonna guess the first fish caught on it.......... mmmmmm
Dolphin are hittin hard right now, if not a dolphin maybe a monster wahoo.
I'll keep ya posted.
Nathan, I'm a big fan of combo lures, and I gotta say you've come up with a very cool lure, outstanding. I bet the Flure would work great on the Lake Trout here.
