Here is a pic of my first attempt at a baby bluegill. Let me know what ya think. The fish was carved, scales woodburned and airbrushed.

Simply Splendid. :P I've been struggling to try & carve lures like that. ops: And the painting just makes me speechless, what kind of paint u used there? Some taxidermy stuff? I'll be bugging u on how to burn those scales for sure

BTW, I'd have the belly hook pointing upwards & bigger (I'm wicked & my fishing conditions are more snaggy though )
