    instead of the closure and loop what about a smaller plastic bead with one side sanded down flat, should be possible to hold the bead down with a piece of wire trough the hole and use a dremmil (hobby drill) with sanding bit i use beads down to 2-3mm tying flys... just a thought keep up the good work, may try one of these myself when i get chance
