The Northern Pike. This is my all time number 1 fish. We fish for these magnificent fish from the beginning of October through to the end of March. This fish takes up all my time and effort during the pike season and all else is forgotten. I believe I have an obsession which is untreatable but I make no apologies for that and I think the picture shows why I have developed that overwhelming love of this fish. It can be despised by a lot of uninformed anglers in the UK and we still find some of these fish being killed by UK anglers (or so called anglers).
