I've been using lead free jigheads made by Keith Okimoto in Hawaii for the last couple of months. His jighead quality is outstanding and the hooks he uses are excellent. I've used Keith's jigs as well. First rate. For the really shallow water stuff I do down here, this jig head he's making is perfect for presentation in that situation.
In my opinion there is a "feel" to it that makes it feel like it's lighter than it is. For the shallow water situation: that's key to gliding a lure right above the shallow weeds.
