Hey guys just me again. If any of you have read my previous posts you will know that I am working on that float rod. Thank you once again for the great responses. The blank is looking good. I am at the point where I want to start to glue some cork rings together and turn a handle for this rod. I have built handles in the past however I would like to put a checker board pattern in a few spots. I have tried different home made jigs and I have even tried measuring and cutting by hand with no sucsess. Do any of you guys have any suggestions on how to make this pattern and make it look good.
