You can bend your own hook holder out of sst wire, and tie it on. I've found some silcone tape called Rescue Tape that seems to hold them on just fine. My own are about 1 1/2" long, including the part I tie to the rod. I bend them with a small step offset, and an angled end at the start, and tuck the angled end tight against my cork reel seat top on the opposite side from the reel. That way they don't interfer with the line, and I can slip the hook bend over them easily when I'm stowing a rig.
