I was lucky enough to visit the factory about 4 years ago. It was amazing! I got to go on a behind the scenes tour with the president of St. Croix...very awesome. This was during a Custom Rod Builders Guild conclave. If you ever get the chance to go, do it!
I keep having this recurring dream about being locked in the St. Croix factory over a weekend and leaving with a pickup truck loaded with brand new custom rods... I feel sleepy.
